Product Overview

The Macurco GD-2A is a low-voltage, fixed-point combustible gas detector engineered to safeguard residential housing, retail centers, office environments, and institutional buildings. Operating on a flexible 12–24 VAC or VDC footprint, the GD-2A tracks hazardous accumulations of Methane (Natural Gas) and Propane (LP Gas), shifting into an alarm state once concentrations cross 25% of the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). Because this specialized security series detector does not feature an onboard audible buzzer, it is engineered to wire directly into a UL Listed Fire Alarm or Burglary Control Panel to utilize centralized battery backups and system sirens.
