Product Overview

The Macurco CX-6-CO is a low-voltage, fixed-point Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitor, controller, and transducer engineered to continuously track CO gas concentrations in heavy-duty commercial or light-industrial spaces. Operating on 12–24 VAC or 12–32 VDC, this specialized unit features a dedicated, replaceable electrochemical CO sensor tracking a range of 0–200 ppm. It can operate as a fully autonomous standalone controller utilizing its internal relays to trip local exhaust fans and visual strobes, or function as a system transducer transmitting real-time tracking data to a Macurco DVP-120 panel, programmable logic controller (PLC), or building automation system.

• Dedicated CO Configuration: Configured specifically for Carbon Monoxide (CO) safety monitoring across a range of 0–200 ppm; does not include or track Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).
• Low-Voltage Power Footprint: Operates safely on low-voltage system setups requiring either 12–24 VAC or 12–32 VDC field wiring.
• Onboard Power Relays: Equipped with an internal 5A SPDT fan control relay and a 0.5A alarm relay to automate facility ventilation or trip local audible-visual sirens.
• Proportional System Telemetry: Transmits a continuous 4–20 mA analog output signal to manage variable frequency drives (VFDs) or feed monitoring data directly into a BMS.
• Simplified Compliance Maintenance: Features a bright LED display showing real-time values, an internal 85 dB buzzer, and an ETL listing to UL 2075 life-safety standards.
