 The Eaton Wheelock Eluxa electronic chimes (ELCH) and chime strobes (ELCHS) are engineered for reliable audible and visual signaling in indoor environments, particularly suited for hospitals, institutional buildings, and other areas requiring discreet, effective notifications. These devices offer field-selectable operational modes including 1 Hz, 2 Hz, Coded, and Temporal 3 (T3), allowing for versatile use across different alerting scenarios. The chime strobe models integrate advanced LED technology, delivering a wide range of candela outputs while maintaining energy efficiency and minimizing current draw. Their low-profile design and modern aesthetic blend seamlessly into interior décor without compromising performance. Eaton’s innovative two-wire circuitry enables the audible signal to be silenced while keeping the strobe active through Wheelock synchronization protocols, and four-wire operation allows independent control of strobe and chime. ELCH and ELCHS units operate at 24V and feature pre-wired, hinged mounting plates for quick and simple installation. All models are UL and ULC listed, RoHS compliant, and compatible with a wide array of Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and existing Wheelock and Exceder LED3 notification devices.
