Product Overview

The Wheelock Eluxa Multitone Horn Strobes deliver eight distinct alerting tones in one compact device, offering exceptional versatility for a wide range of emergency signaling applications. Recognized both nationally and internationally, the selectable tones include Horn, Bell, March Time, Code-3 Tone, Code-3 Horn, Slow Whoop, Siren, and Hi/Lo. The temporal patterns for Code-3 tones meet NFPA/ANSI requirements without the need for external modules.

This series features advanced LED strobe technology designed to minimize current draw while providing a full selection of candela options for both wall and ceiling installations. Models are available with amber, blue, red, or green lenses, accommodating color-coded signaling requirements. Eaton's high-efficiency optical design supports lower system power consumption, enabling more devices per circuit and reducing overall installation costs.

Wall-mounted amber models offer candela settings from 15 to 185 cd, while blue and red wall units offer a 5 to 50 cd range. Ceiling-mounted amber models range from 15 to 177 cd, and colored lenses provide varying low-candela options depending on the lens type. With a low-profile enclosure, selectable output levels, and a pre-wire/pre-test mounting system, Eluxa devices streamline installation and deliver reliable performance in indoor applications.

All units operate on 24V input and can function using filtered or unfiltered (FWR) power sources. Separate terminals allow the horn and strobe to function on a single NAC or independently on two circuits. The product line is fully approved under UL and ULC standards, RoHS compliant, and backward compatible with existing Wheelock RSS and Exceder LED3 systems for synchronized strobe operation.
