Product Overview

 The Wheelock Eluxa multitone horns and horn strobes by Eaton deliver eight distinct alerting sounds in a single device, providing flexible signaling options for a wide variety of applications. The alert tones include Horn, Bell, March Time Horn, Code-3 Tone, Code-3 Horn, Slow Whoop, Siren, and Hi/Lo Tone. Code-3 patterns are designed to meet NFPA/ANSI Temporal Pattern requirements without additional equipment.

Multitone horn strobes incorporate advanced energy-saving LED technology, offering a full range of candela settings for indoor wall and ceiling mounts. Eaton’s LED technology provides the lowest current draw in the industry across all candela levels, reducing both energy use and installation costs. This innovative design allows more appliances per circuit with fewer power supplies, creating material and system savings. Wall models feature six selectable candela levels (15, 30, 75, 110, 135, 185 cd), and ceiling models offer 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 177 cd. Amber, blue, green, and red lens options are also available.

Eluxa devices feature a compact, low-profile design with two sound output levels—Standard dBA and High dBA. The pre-wire/pre-test mounting plate with hinge simplifies installation, and devices operate with either 12V or 24V (ELMT) or 24V only (ELMTS). Units support filtered or unfiltered input voltages and allow simultaneous or independent operation of audible and strobe signals using 2- or 4-wire connections.

All Eluxa devices are UL and ULC listed (Standards 1638 and 464; CAN/ULC-S525 and S526), RoHS compliant, and free of mercury and other hazardous substances. They are also compatible with a wide range of Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and Wheelock strobe-based products, including RSS and Exceder LED3, enabling installation alongside existing notification appliances.
