Product Overview

The Xtralis F-PC-3.5 is an orange standard sampling hole clip designed for 3.5 mm (0.138") aspirating holes in ASD (Aspirating Smoke Detection) pipework. Sold in a pack of five, this clip ensures accurate hole sizing and easy identification, addressing one of the most common challenges during ASD installation: locating sampling points and verifying correct hole diameters.

Each VESDA Sampling Hole Clip is color-coded, providing a quick visual reference that eliminates the need for close inspection. This greatly speeds up commissioning and maintenance, especially in large or high-ceiling environments such as warehouses, logistics centers, and industrial facilities.

With a pre-engineered hole design, installers only need a single 10 mm (27/64") drill bit for all hole openings, no need for multiple drill sizes. The clip snaps securely into place without tools or assembly, making it ideal for subcontracted installations or situations where teams may not be familiar with the importance of precise hole sizing.

Its chamfered entry design reduces dust loading and helps maintain optimal system performance, potentially extending service intervals. The sampling hole clips are available in both Standard and Harsh Environment versions, the latter featuring a flexi-lip that protects against contamination in high-pressure or particulate-heavy environments.
