Product Overview

The 005895XL Intelligent Power Module is a 6A notification power expander designed to enhance the capacity and performance of Silent Knight® addressable fire alarm control panels. Equipped with its own AC power connection, charging circuit, and backup battery support, the module operates as a fully independent power source within the system.

The unit features six Flexput™ circuits, each rated at 3A and configurable as notification appliance circuits, auxiliary power outputs (constant, resettable, or door-holder), or conventional initiation circuits. In addition, the 5895XL provides a conditioned SBUS repeater, extending SBUS wiring distances by up to 6,000 feet and improving overall communication reliability.

The enclosure offers room to mount two 5815XL SLC expanders, enabling significant system expansion. It also includes built-in synchronization for appliances from major manufacturers such as AMSECO, Gentex™, Faraday, System Sensor™, and Wheelock™.
