Product Overview

The Bosch D8130 Door Release Module is an accessory for fire alarm control panels designed to manage functions required in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 72) fire alarm installations. It features two independent Form C dry contacts rated at 5 A for controlling low-voltage circuits connected to magnetic door holders, pilot relays, or contactor units.

The module is activated by the control panel’s indicating output, with a red Alarm Input LED providing a clear visual indication of contact activation. A selectable jumper allows instant activation or a 14-second delay during alarm and restoral conditions, which is useful for momentary bell testing. The relay closure duration follows the programmed indicating circuit time, and contacts automatically deactivate when the alarm output is silenced unless external latching is provided.
