Product Overview

The Xtralis F-PC-3 is a standard orange sampling hole clip designed for 3.0 mm (0.118") openings in ASD (Aspirating Smoke Detection) pipework. Supplied in a convenient pack of five, these clips ensure fast, accurate, and reliable hole sizing, eliminating the guesswork often encountered during ASD installations.

Sampling Hole Clips are engineered to simplify the entire commissioning and maintenance process. Each clip is color-coded, giving technicians an immediate visual indication of both hole diameter and sampling point location. This is particularly valuable in large facilities such as warehouses, distribution centers, and open industrial spaces, where identifying small drilled holes can be difficult.

With a pre-engineered hole design, installers only need a single 10 mm (27/64") drill bit to create the opening. The clip snaps into place with no assembly, tools, or additional parts required, ideal for subcontracted installations or teams unfamiliar with how incorrect hole sizing affects ASD performance.

The chamfered hole entry reduces dust accumulation, helping maintain higher system uptime and potentially extending service intervals. For more demanding environments, Harsh Environment variants are available, featuring a flexi-lip design to minimize contamination from high airflow or particulate-heavy conditions.
