Product Overview

The Mircom MIX-4030 Tri-Mode Heat Detector is an intelligent addressable device designed to provide reliable thermal detection for fire alarm systems. Using a fully digital communication protocol, the detector continuously monitors ambient temperature and reports data to a compatible MIX-4000 Series fire alarm control panel. The device can be configured to activate an alarm when temperatures exceed fixed thresholds of 135°F (57°C) or 175°F (79°C), or when rapid temperature increases occur using rate-of-rise detection. Configuration and operating modes are selected through the control panel, allowing flexible system setup and dependable fire detection across a variety of applications.
