The Xtralis OSE-SP-01 is a Standard Power, battery-operated Emitter unit designed for the OSID (Open-Area Smoke Imaging Detection) system. Powered by Alkaline batteries with a lifespan of approximately three years, this wireless device projects coded dual-wavelength (UV and IR) light beams toward an opposing Imager. The wire-free design simplifies installation in architectural spaces where cabling is difficult, such as atriums or heritage buildings. By utilizing dual-frequency signaling, the system effectively discriminates between real smoke and environmental interferences like dust or sunlight, ensuring reliable detection with minimal false alarms.
