Product Overview

The SK-FML Silent Knight Fiber-Optic Multi-Mode Module is a plug-in fiber loop module designed to transmit or receive communications through the SK-NIC ARCNET network interface. Using multi-mode fiber, the SK-FML enables reliable, long-distance communication between compatible fire alarm control panels while reducing the risks and costs associated with copper wiring between buildings.

Each SK-FML module operates as a single communication channel and can be configured as either Transmit (TX) or Receive (RX). Up to two fiber loop modules can be installed on a single SK-NIC, allowing flexible network configurations and efficient multi-panel communication within a unified system.
