Surface-mounted appliances can be installed using Wheelock IOB, WBB, WPBB, or WPSBB weatherproof backboxes, ensuring durable protection against the elements. For concealed conduit setups, the weatherproof backbox is paired with Wheelock’s WP-KIT to create a sealed, weatherproof interface with recessed electrical boxes. Semi-flush-mounted appliances are supported through Wheelock WFP or WFPA flush plates, which provide a tight weatherproof seal between the electrical box and the device.
