About the Opportunity

Next Security Corp is a multinational company operating in the electronic security and fire prevention industry. Known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence, we continue to expand our presence in the U.S. market. We are currently strengthening our finance team and looking for a dedicated professional to support our accounts receivable operations at our Miami office.


Job Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable department. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and communicating with customers to ensure timely payments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and follow up on past-due balances

  • Prepare and send monthly statements and weekly invoices

  • Perform weekly and monthly billing activities

  • Post and apply customer payments accurately

  • Post ACH payments

  • Verify and post receipts to ensure revenue accuracy

  • Answer customer phone calls and resolve billing-related inquiries or complaints

  • Assist the Accounting Manager with ad hoc requests

  • Support the preparation of reports, as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Associate degree in Accounting is preferred

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required

  • Customer service or customer relations experience

  • Must be patient in dealing with anyone in person or over the phone

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and employees.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
