Product Overview

The Space Age Electronics D381 Multi-Spectrum Flame Detector is an advanced optical flame detection device engineered to identify both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires while maintaining high immunity to false alarm sources. Using a multi-spectrum sensing approach that combines ultraviolet (UV) detection with three discrete infrared (3IR) bands, the D381 analyzes flame signatures through advanced digital signal processing and proprietary algorithms. This technology enables rapid detection of fires such as a 1 ft. × 1 ft. n-Heptane or IPA flame from distances up to 200 feet in approximately 3 to 5 seconds.
