The Gentex SR is a high-performance, 120VAC hardwired smoke alarm equipped with Integral Form A/Form C Relay Contacts. Designed to meet the stringent ANSI/UL 217 9th Edition standards, this "Relay" model provides advanced multi-criteria photoelectric sensing to virtually eliminate nuisance alarms from cooking while providing rapid detection of real fire threats. The integrated relay allows the alarm to interface directly with auxiliary building systems, such as magnetic door releases, ventilation fans, or security panels. With a 9V battery backup and full tandem interconnectivity, the SR is the professional choice for complex residential and commercial life safety installations.
