Product Overview

 The Federal Signal FHEX is an explosion-proof vibrating horn designed to deliver a loud and distinctive audible signal in hazardous locations. It generates sound through the electromechanical vibration of a stainless-steel diaphragm and is intended for use in alarm notification systems. The FHEX is compatible with supervised fire alarm and fire suppression control panels, as well as power amplifiers. Operating on 24 VDC, it provides a powerful output of 100 dB at 10 ft (110 dB at 1 m). Its heavy-duty, copper-free cast aluminum enclosure with a red powder-coated finish ensures durability and long service life in demanding environments.
