The Federal Signal FSEX-24PMA-MOD is an explosion-proof, high-intensity strobe light engineered specifically for hazardous locations where flammable gases or vapors may be present. This model features a specialized Voltage In-rush Limiting PCB ("-MOD") that ensures compatibility with sensitive fire alarm and suppression control panels by preventing high-surge currents during startup. The unit is housed in a heavy-duty, copper-free aluminum body with a corrosion-resistant epoxy powder coating. It is rated for Type 4X, IP66, and IP69K, making it capable of withstanding high-pressure wash-downs and extreme industrial environments such as refineries, chemical plants, and offshore rigs.
