Product Overview 

The Gentex GSR is a high-output, low-profile Red Strobe designed for wall-mount notification in 24 VDC life safety systems. As part of the Commander 5 Series, the GSR utilizes a high-intensity Xenon flashtube to provide six field-selectable candela settings, reaching up to 177 cd for large open areas. This visual-only appliance is engineered for maximum efficiency and ease of installation, featuring the patented Super-Slide® mounting bracket and Checkmate® instant voltage verification. The GSR is ideal for environments requiring high-visibility signaling where an audible horn is either not required or provided by a separate device.
