Product Overview

The SK-NIC Network Interface Card enables compatible fire alarm control panels (FACPs) to communicate across broadband networks, creating a unified system that supports multi-site monitoring and coordinated control. Designed for flexibility, the SK-NIC allows panels to be interconnected using fiber-optic cable, copper wire, or a combination of both, making it suitable for a wide range of network architectures and building layouts.

When used in fiber-optic installations, the SK-NIC supports optional plug-in expansion modules, including single-mode and multi-mode fiber cards, allowing system designers to tailor performance and distance capabilities to project requirements. The card can be mounted directly inside the FACP or within an auxiliary cabinet, providing additional versatility during installation. Each SK-NIC includes one network card and integrates seamlessly into intelligent expanding fire alarm networks.
