WTX-M POTTER
Product Overview
The Potter WTX-M SignaLink Wireless Transmitter is designed to monitor the status of compatible dry-contact fire alarm devices, including sprinkler switches, and transmit their status wirelessly. Its enclosure features a threaded nipple, O-ring, and locking nut for direct mounting at the conduit entrance of a dry-contact device that is not listed as explosion-proof.
The WTX-M connects to the normally open contacts of a listed dry-contact fire alarm device using two flying leads. The connection is supervised for open- and short-circuit conditions using the supplied 5.1 kΩ End-of-Line Resistor (EOLR). The transmitter follows the connected switch's status rather than latching, and includes a cover tamper switch, two AA 1.5 V lithium iron disulfide batteries, and an LED indicating when the battery meter has been reset.
