Product Overview

The 005815XL Silent Knight Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) Expander enhances the capacity of IntelliKnight® fire alarm control panels by enabling additional addressable devices to be added to the system. Each expander supports up to 99 modules and 99 detectors, or 127 addressable devices, allowing for significant system growth and flexibility.

The 005815XL communicates with the control panel through the RS-485 system bus, and a green LED on the board provides a clear indication of proper communication. In the event of a device failure on the loop, the expander reports the condition to the panel while ensuring the remaining devices continue to operate normally. Supporting most standard wiring methods, it is also well-suited for retrofit installations requiring expanded capacity.
