Silent Knight’s 005895XL Intelligent Power Module delivers independent 6A notification power and extended communication reach for addressable fire alarm control panels. Designed as a dedicated power expander, the unit connects directly to AC input with an integrated charging circuit and backup battery support, maintaining reliable operation during primary power fluctuations.

The enclosure features six individually programmed 3A Flexput™ circuits that function as notification appliance circuits, auxiliary power outputs (constant, resettable, or door‑holder), or conventional initiation fields. Each output maps directly through standard FACP programming, eliminating external relay hardware. The panel also incorporates two 2.5A, 24V DC Form C programmable relays for secondary building control tasks.

Wiring distance limitations are resolved through the integrated, conditioned SBUS repeater, which strengthens RS‑485 signals and extends communication links up to 6,000 feet while supporting Class A topology for both SBUS and Flexput loops. The internal cabinet provides dedicated mounting space for two 5815XL SLC expanders, allowing significant loop capacity increases within a single footprint. Factory‑synced timing handles cross‑brand compatibility for AMSECO, Gentex, Faraday, System Sensor, and Wheelock notification appliances.
