Product Overview
The 6820EVS Silent Knight Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel integrates advanced detection capabilities with a fully featured Emergency Voice System (EVS), offering comprehensive fire and mass notification functionality in a single platform. The system supports networking of up to 17 connected panels, providing unified system visibility through single-point communication. Both copper and fiber-optic connectivity can be used simultaneously within the same network, enabling flexible multi-building installations.
The panel includes one built-in SLC, supporting 159 SK detectors, 159 SK modules, or 127 SD devices. Additional SLC loops can be added, allowing the system to scale to 1,110 SK points or 635 SD points per panel.
EVS capabilities include an onboard supervised microphone, dedicated All-Call and Non-Active Call buttons, and support for prerecorded emergency messages. Up to 15 one-minute messages can be programmed and mapped to dedicated EVS buttons for rapid communication. The system offers priority selection, allowing emergency voice instructions to override fire alarm messages when required.
