Product Overview

The ANN-S/PG Interface Module provides a direct connection between a compatible Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) and either a serial or parallel printer, enabling automatic printing of event logs, detector status reports, and historical records in real time. Communication with the FACP is achieved through a two-wire serial link that uses the ANN-Bus protocol, while an additional pair of wires supplies 24 VDC power. A single four-conductor unshielded cable can be used to carry both data and power, simplifying installation.

Up to eight ANN-Bus devices can operate on the same communication loop, allowing the ANN-S/PG to be positioned wherever printing access is needed. The module may be surface-mounted on a wall and installed as far as 6,000 ft (1,829 m) from the host panel. It supports powering directly from the FACP or from a remote 24-volt auxiliary power supply when system power demand requires it.

Designed for dependable performance in indoor, dry environments, the ANN-S/PG offers supervised, power-limited connections to the control panel and supports standard printer interfaces, including DB-9 for serial and DB-25 for parallel printers.
