The Mircom APB200-LF-WH is an Intelligent Addressable Low Frequency (520Hz) Sounder Base. It is designed for use with Mircom's Advanced Protocol (AP) sensors. The "LF" indicates it produces the code-required 520Hz square wave tone necessary for sleeping room applications. The "WH" suffix denotes its White finish, matching the modern aesthetic of newer sensor heads. Unlike traditional sounder bases, this is an addressable device, meaning the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) can command it to activate independently of the sensor head attached to it.
