The Eaton VoCALL MX16RSS-US is a digital, intelligent Type B emergency outstation designed for two-way voice communication within an Area of Refuge (AOR) system. Specifically engineered to interface natively with the Eaton VoCALL 16 US master control platform,
the outstation utilizes a robust 4-conductor loop topology integrated with built-in short-circuit isolators to maintain fault-tolerant path survival during circuit emergencies. Housed in a durable, sleek silver stainless steel enclosure (6.1" H x 6.1" W x 2.5" D) optimized for surface-mount installation,
the station supports automatic software-driven electronic addressing ("soft addressing") directly from the master panel loop. It features an intuitive user interface with a heavy-duty push-button activator, clear operational labeling, and a high-fidelity speaker/microphone array.
It is fully compliant with ADA accessibility mandates, NFPA 72 life safety codes, and carries UL 62368-1, UL 864, and UL 294 listings.
