Raised text and Braille are included to comply with ICC A117.1 Chapter 7 Section 703.3 accessibility requirements. The sign is intended to be mounted above or adjacent to each emergency call station in accordance with IBC Section 1009.11 to ensure occupants can easily locate and understand emergency communication procedures.
