The Gentex SHRR is a specialized 120VAC wall-mount Smoke Alarm with an Integral 177 Candela Strobe, designed specifically for hotels, dormitories, and residential facilities to protect the deaf and hard-of-hearing. This model features a Red faceplate and utilizes photoelectric sensing technology to provide superior protection against smoldering fires while minimizing nuisance alarms. The integrated high-intensity Xenon strobe meets ADA requirements for visual signaling in sleeping areas. The SHRR is interconnectable, meaning if one alarm in the system is triggered, the strobes and 85dB horns on all interconnected units will activate simultaneously.
