Product Overview

The SK-FIRE-CO-W is a plug-in, addressable multi-criteria detector that provides combined fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection in a single device. Designed to enhance life safety while minimizing nuisance alarms, this detector uses four independent sensing elements to accurately identify real fire and CO conditions.

By analyzing smoke, carbon monoxide, heat, and infrared light/flame patterns, the SK-FIRE-CO-W delivers advanced detection performance with high immunity to false alarms caused by non-fire particulates such as dust or theatrical smoke. The integrated electrochemical CO sensor generates a separate life-safety CO signal, ensuring reliable carbon monoxide detection alongside fire protection.

The detector meets stringent industry standards, including UL 268 (7th Edition), UL 521, and UL 2075, making it suitable for commercial applications where both fire and CO detection are required.

For audible signaling, B200S series intelligent sounder bases are recommended. These bases provide distinct temporal patterns, Temporal 3 for fire and Temporal 4 for CO, allowing occupants to clearly differentiate between alarm conditions.
