The Hochiki SPC-24 Projected Beam Smoke Detector is a high-performance smoke detection solution designed for large open areas where conventional detectors may be less effective. The system consists of an emitter and receiver that continuously monitor the transmitted light beam. When smoke crosses the beam path and reduces signal strength beyond the selected obscuration threshold, an alarm is triggered, ensuring rapid detection of potential fire hazards.
