 The Honeywell Sensepoint XCD Fixed Gas Detector is designed to monitor environments where flammable gases, toxic gases, or oxygen deficiency could present hazards. Combining high performance and reliability, the XCD detector is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, offering a comprehensive set of features in a cost-effective package.

Key Features

  • Preconfigured with two programmable alarm relays and one programmable fault relay
  • Includes 4-20 mA analog output and MODBUS communication
  • Available in three transmitter types for different sensor families:
    • mV transmitter for catalytic and infrared (IR) sensors detecting flammable gases, including IR sensors linearized to methane or propane (propane version includes cross-sensitivity factors for ethylene, butane, and pentane), plus IR CO₂ sensor
    • EC transmitter for EC sensors detecting CO, H₂S, NO₂, and H₂
    • Oxygen transmitter for oxygen sensors
