Product Overview

The PAD300-DUCTR Analog Addressable Duct Detector is engineered to provide reliable smoke detection within HVAC duct systems and is fully compliant with NFPA requirements and applicable local codes. Using a two-tube air sampling method, it monitors airflow by drawing air through intake and exhaust tubes that extend into the duct. The unit ships with a standard 7" exhaust tube, while intake tubes, available in 2.5 ft, 5 ft, and 10 ft lengths are cut to match the specific duct size.

This detector includes enhanced sensor technology that complies with UL 268 7th Edition, offering improved performance and higher detection accuracy. It arrives complete with housing and detector head, and is designed for fast installation using the provided mounting template and screws, all without removing the clear cover. Fully compatible with Potter’s IPA and AFC/ARC addressable fire alarm systems, it supports Class A, Class X, and Class B SLC configurations.
