Product Overview

 The PAD300-PCD is an analog addressable combination Photoelectric Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector designed for use with fire alarm control panels that utilize the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. The CO detection portion employs a proven electrochemical sensor for accurate life-safety monitoring, while the photoelectric smoke sensor meets UL 268 7th Edition enhanced sensitivity standards. The unit features a wide smoke sensitivity range of 1.1–3.5% per foot with drift compensation and a built-in dirty detector warning. Communication with the control panel is digital and robust, with a polling speed under five seconds. The detector is compatible with all PAD300 series bases and is easily field-addressed via rear DIP switches without special tools.
