POTTER PAD 300-PHD
Product Overview
The Potter PAD300-PHD Analog Photoelectric Smoke and Heat Detector is a UL-listed, addressable combination detector compatible with fire alarm control panels using the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. It combines photoelectric smoke detection with rate-of-rise and fixed temperature heat sensing, providing reliable early warning for fire conditions.
Constructed from durable off-white plastic, the PAD300-PHD blends seamlessly with ceilings and features drift compensation and a built-in dirty detector warning. Communication with the control panel occurs via a robust digital path, analyzing data at the device level with a total polling speed under five seconds. The detector is compatible with any PAD300 series detector base and is field-addressable via rear DIP switches, requiring no special tools for installation or programming.
