Product Overview

The PFC-5008 is a microprocessor-based conventional fire alarm control panel designed for small to medium-sized commercial, residential, multifamily, institutional, and industrial facilities. It is built on the PFC-5004E platform and comes from the factory with the ZA-42 expansion module installed, providing eight initiating zones. The preassembled kit also includes provisions for digital communication, although the panel does not include the DACT.

This model features 8 Class B initiating circuits that can be reconfigured as 4 Class A circuits, along with 4 Class A/B indicating circuits rated at 1.7 amps each. A built-in 5-amp power supply supports system operation and provides a 24 VDC, 100 mA resettable regulated output for four-wire smoke detectors. Configuration is fully handled through simple DIP switch programming for easy setup across a wide range of applications.
