Product Overview

 The PIVSU-EX is an explosion-proof supervisory switch engineered for monitoring the open or closed position of Post Indicator and Butterfly valves installed in hazardous environments. The unit mounts directly to the valve body using a 1/2" NPT threaded connection. During valve operation, the valve’s indicator or mechanism compresses the return spring, allowing the trip rod to shift and activate the internal switch. The adjustable trip-rod design supports precise installation, while the heavy-duty enclosure ensures reliable performance in classified hazardous locations.
