Product Overview

The VSR-3 is a vane-type waterflow switch designed for wet sprinkler systems. It is approved for use on steel pipe (Schedule 10–40) in 3" (DN80) configurations and functions as a system or sectional waterflow detector. The unit includes dual SPDT snap-action switches and an adjustable pneumatic retard mechanism that activates when a sustained flow of 10 GPM (38 LPM) or greater occurs downstream. Its robust construction, NEMA 4/IP54 enclosure, and multiple approvals make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor fire-protection applications.
