Social Media Specialist


Regarding the opportunity

Next Security Corp operates in the security and life protection technology segment. We are seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to plan and produce content that strengthens the company's digital presence and translates our products, solutions, and initiatives into relevant communications for the public.

Instagram and LinkedIn are currently our main channels. Content production heavily relies on video, so this position involves participating in recording and editing materials for social media. The person will work in partnership with Marketing and will have support from Design for graphic materials.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the Instagram and LinkedIn editorial calendar, according to marketing priorities and campaigns;

  • To propose topics, formats, and approaches appropriate to each channel;

  • To produce texts, captions, calls to action, scripts, and briefings;

  • Participate in capturing and editing videos for social media;

  • Adapt and publish content in formats appropriate for each platform;

  • Maintain consistency in brand positioning, tone of voice, and identity;

  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, forwarding requests to the responsible departments;

  • Monitor trends and opportunities relevant to the brand;

  • Monitor organic and paid media content metrics, analyze results, and propose improvements;

  • Organize schedules, files, approvals, and content databases;

  • Participate in recordings, events, and marketing activities, including occasionally outside of regular working hours;

  • Must be available for occasional travel, including to the United States, according to the Marketing schedule.

The volume of publications may vary depending on campaigns, events, and actions planned in the Marketing calendar.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing social media for brands, companies, or clients;

  • Portfolio showcasing examples of managed content, videos, campaigns, or profiles;

  • Excellent written communication skills and fluency in the Portuguese language;

  • Experience with content planning, editorial calendar, and copywriting for social media;

  • Ability to write scripts, shoot, and edit short videos for social media;

  • Knowledge of tools such as CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci or equivalent;

  • Knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn formats and best practices;

  • Familiarity with metrics such as reach, engagement, views, retention, and clicks;

  • Knowledge of paid media metrics and the ability to interpret results;

  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and publishing or scheduling tools;

  • Knowledge of Canva or a similar tool;

  • Organization, autonomy, responsibility regarding deadlines, and ease of working in a team;

Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communication or equivalent professional experience.

 

Key differentiators

  • Valid US visa;

  • Experience with B2B brands or technology and security companies;

  • Experience with Reels, Stories, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts;

  • Experience working with influencers, creators, UGC, or social listening;

  • Basic knowledge of GA4, UTMs, or Looker Studio;

  • Experience covering events and producing content on-site.

  • Employment type: CLT (Brazilian labor law contract);

  • Work model: in-person;

  • Location: São Paulo/SP;

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 10:30 AM to 8:18 PM, with a 1-hour break;
