Product Overview

The EVD-2C Electronic Vibration Detector System is a UL-listed seismic detection solution engineered for primary protection of mercantile or bank safes, vaults, and ATM machines, as well as supplementary protection of interior units including file cabinets, display cases, walls, and ceilings. The system utilizes reliable piezo sensor technology with sophisticated signal processing to deliver high sensitivity while preventing false alarms. The expandable architecture supports up to 15 remote pickups (Model EVD-R) for comprehensive coverage of large installations. The EVD-2C includes an integrated HSC-1 high security safe contact interface and features a multi-color status LED for visual system feedback. The system operates on 9.0 to 16.0 VDC (12 VDC nominal) and must be used with an appropriate UL-listed control unit. For door-mounted applications on single-door safes, the maximum linear detection distance is 73.5 inches from the sensor location through the hinges to all safe body points.
