Product Overview

 The Potter VSR-8 is a vane-type waterflow alarm switch designed for wet sprinkler systems. It is UL Listed, FM Approved, CUL and CSFM Listed, and LPCB Approved for use on steel pipes ranging from 2" to 8" (50 mm to 200 mm). The device can also function as a sectional waterflow detector on large systems. It includes two single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) snap-action switches with an adjustable, instantly recycling pneumatic retard that triggers when water flow exceeds 10 GPM (38 LPM) downstream for a duration sufficient to overcome the selected delay. The switches and retard mechanism are housed in a NEMA 4/IP54 rated die-cast enclosure with tamper-resistant screws, and a field-installable cover tamper switch is available as an option.
